I’m sorry miss about my delay to give feedbacks, it because some reason. :D
Ok, I would like to give some
reviews and feedbacks for some group’s works, it’s about sentences use 5 tenses
and about some grammatical errors.
This is my
corrections :
Group 1
Present Tense
1. He goes
to Jakarta to get the better job.
It will be right if
the word “the better” change with “a better”. As i know "better" is using when we
compere something(comparative degree) “like better than” but if your meaning “most” it should write
“the best”.
compere something(comparative degree) “like better than” but if your meaning “most” it should write
“the best”.
So, you should write “He goes to Jakarta to get a better job.”
Past Perfect Tense
2.
I had
read the book three times in week.
I see it will be perfect if you give “a” before week
So it will be “ I had read the book three times in a week”
Group
4
Present Tense
1. I always washes my face and brushes my teeth before going to bed.
Present Tense
1. I always washes my face and brushes my teeth before going to bed.
Look at the Formula
of Simple Present Tense is : I/You/We/They + V1
He/She/It + V1 +s/es
So, washes and brushes is wrong, you should write
"I always wash my face and brush my teeth before going
to bed".
Present
Continuous Tense
2. My friend are
helping me to solve my problem.
If your meaning is many friends you should give “s” in
my friend word.
"My friends are helping me to solve my problem".
But if your meaning is just one friend you should use
“is” .
"My friend is helping me to solve my problem".

Past perfect tense
Past perfect tense
1. The thief had
run away after he got alot of money from the bank.
This
tense use to explain that an activity already happen at the past before other
activity happen.
And
if we want to write past perfect we must write first activity as reason next
activity like “ got
a lot of money (above sentence)“ before next activity like “run away”
I
think the correct sentence is “ The thief run away after he had gotten a lot of
money from the
Bank”
Group 7
Past Continuous Tense
1. Yuli was watching television when I cleaned the floor.
When is used to explain an activities that
need short time, and while is opposite with when. Cleaned the floor and
watching television is same need a long time for do it.
So, The correct sentence is “ Yuli was watching television while I was
cleaning the floor.”
Past Perfect Tense and Past Tense
2. I had played football after I exercised.
2. I had played football after I exercised.
Because
“excercise” doing before “play football”, so you should use Past Perfect for
“exercise”
and Past Tense for “play football”.
So the correct sentence is “I
played football after I had exercised”.
“I
played football after I had exercised” or “I had exercised before i played
football”
Group 9
Simple Past Tense
1. I bought many clothes to my family.
1. I bought many clothes to my family.
From above sentence, using to is exact less . you
should use “for” not “to”, it will be better.
So the correct sentence is “I
bought many clothes for my family”.
Past Perfect
2. Fauzy had sent me a email before he called yesterday.
Using
“a” in above sentence is wrong, it should use ”an” because first word character
is Vocal
Character, So, you should write
Fauzy had sent me an email before he called yesterday.
Group 10
Present Continuous
1. Don't go anywhere! our office boy is making some glass of coffee for us.
1. Don't go anywhere! our office boy is making some glass of coffee for us.

Present Tense
2. This annual report is not complete, please check your notes and say to me as soon as possible.
2. This annual report is not complete, please check your notes and say to me as soon as possible.
I'm really need this document.
The formula of
present tense for affirmative sentence is S + Verb 1+Object, so to be “am”
above

So, You should write
“This annual report is not complete, please check your notes and say to me
as
soon as possible. I really need this
document.
Past tense
3. This product was expired, you have to saw the labels before you bought it.

was expired, you have to see the labels before you bought it.
Past Continuous
4. I was recording supplies inventory while my partner moved this car.
5. Vitta was making some cakes while her mother went to the market.
For two sentences above you better use “when” not “while” because it’s short activity (for when)
4. I was recording supplies inventory while my partner moved this car.
5. Vitta was making some cakes while her mother went to the market.
For two sentences above you better use “when” not “while” because it’s short activity (for when)

1.

restaurants at 7.30 p.m tonight.
