The Biography of
Irwan Hidayat
Irwan
Hidayat is the first child of five siblings. Yahya Hidayat is his father and
Desi Sulistyo is his mother. He was born on (in) Yogyakarta, (on) April 23th, 1947. In 1949,
he lived in Semarang for develop
traditional herbal medicine business, but now he living in Jakarta.
As
the eldest son. (,) He (he) demanded (to) be a leader and mentor for the fourth
brother. Irwan
increasingly dominate role in the family after his father died (passed Away) in 1971.
Since then, Irwan be (became) a child who will inherit the family business as a
manufacture of
traditional herbal medicine, it is the herbal Sidomuncul. Irwan is the
third
generation which until now become a director of the company. In leading
his
business, he always held the advice from his parents, namely to maintain
harmony with brother, in running a business should always be good for
employees, and not hurt them as well as honest in business. The advice
be
equipped Irwan Hidayat running the company well.
The
success achieved by PT. Sidomuncul not regardless of the difficulties
experienced by Irwan Hidayat as head of the company. When Irwan received inheritance the company in 1971, actually, the company was
in less favorable situation. At that time, the company had debts and almost had
not significant assets. Debt raw materials, if calculated, it was equivalent to
30 months of turnover of the company. Assets factory of only 600 square meters,
it was without an engine. At that time also, the employees was only about 120
people. As a third generation to continue the family business, Irwan can not
just continue the tradition that has just woken up in the company. During the
20s, the company he managed that have failed consequence of various obstacle. But Irwan try and keep
trying. He never give up in his life, because he has believed that everyone has
a chance. Until at last he was able to bring the company into a successful.
