JAYA SUPRANA
Phoa Kok Tjiang, his famous name is Jaya Suprana. He was born in Denpasar, Bali, on 27th January 1949. He was born as a chinese descendant but grew up within Javanese culture, because when his age 10 month, he was moving to Semarang. He is an Indonesian pianist, composer, conductor, writer, cartoonist, and television presenter. He also known as a succesful bussinesman. Jaya is the third generation in the Jamu Jago Company, he served as marketing director of PT Jamu Jago in 1976-1983, then president director of PT Jamu Jago in 1983-1991, next, president commissioner of PT Jamu Jago in 1991-2010, and now his tasks is directed GBHN ( Corporate Policy Guidelines ) and oversee the performence of the company, because now Jamu Jago Company in forth generation. Jamu Jago product widely known in Indonesia, even some have been exported to foreign countries, such as Malaysia ,Vietnam, and Japan.
I knew him because he established the Indonesian Museum of Record (MURI) on 27th January 1990. He founded the Indonesian Record Museum as a part of a vision of the future to collect all the achievements, behavior, and activities that are unique, rare, and creative. Museum MURI near with Jamu Jago factory has become official tourist attraction in Semarang, Central Java.
I consider him as a succesful bussines person because he is hardworker. Before he become director in Jamu Jago Company, he had became ordinary employe. When he was a young, he became seller trace newspaper in Semarang. He studied in German and he also have part time job in there, to get additional money he had to work, as the fixer of tiles, ticket sellers, turner, and a piano teacher. He started succes from zero. His story gives a lesson that bussines can run together with art. His struggles, efforts and his credibilities very Inspiring me. So,once more who
says the
arts and business can’t
rally?
Hi Putri Utami,
BalasHapusI would like to give feedback for your work. I find the a sentence “he served as marketing director of PT Jamu Jago in 1976-1983, then president director of PT Jamu Jago in 1983-1991, next, president commissioner of PT Jamu Jago in 1991-2010, and now his tasks is directed GBHN ( Corporate Policy Guidelines ) and oversee the performence of the company.”
You must use capital letter on the first of the words, so you should write “Marketing Director, President Director, President Commissioner”
:)
Hi Ema,
BalasHapusBefore it, thanks to read my post, and i'm very happy to read and see your comment in my post.. :D
okay, about your opinion that using capital letter on the first words , there are marketing director, president director, and etc , i agree with you, actually when i write this post i also confused , whether using capital letters at the beginning of the word or not, but now i believe if it should using capital letters..
about other sentences or using tenses , have you find an error from text above ema?
if yes, please ask and explain me again..
^_^
Hi uteeeee:D Your article is good enough but I think there are some mistakes. Let me revise it.
BalasHapus1. He founded the Indonesian Record Museum as a part of a vision of the future to collect all the achievements, behavior, and activities that are unique, rare, and creative. Museum MURI near with Jamu Jago factory has become official tourist attraction in Semarang, Central Java.
I think it should be "he found the Indonesian Record Museum.." because the past word from Find is Found.
2. He studied in German and he also have part time job in there, to get additional money he had to work, as the fixer of tiles, ticket sellers, turner, and a piano teacher. He started succes from zero.
It must be "he studied in German and he also had ..." because it's past verb.
