Hello Miss Uut. At this chance, we want to post the second
work. And it’s our work:
-
1. Present Tense- Indonesia plays a growing role at the multilateral level.- Goverment gives fund to poor people as a compensation of new oil policy.- He goes to Jakarta to get the better job.2. Past Tense- Fuel subsidies consumed 13 percent of Gross Domestic Product in 2014.- I worked my task yesterday, so I can refresh my mind now.- They went to Semarang last week.3. Present Continuous Tense- The customer is complaining about our service and that’s not good for us.- We are studying seriously to get a good score.- Indonesia’s kurs is growing up today.4. Past Continuous Tense- The investors were queuing at the stock exchange.- Lina was studying English when her parents were cleaning the house.- She was investing a quarter of her money for her future.5. Past Perfect Tense- Indonesian’s fuel production had dedined significantly over the years.- We had passed senior high school a years ago.- I had read the book three times in week.
Work#3
BalasHapusWell, I would like to give some reviews and feedbacks for 1st group. In general i like all of these sentences but i also find some eror sentences for each tenses.
Present Tense : for 2nd sentence, you can add an article for spesific noun. like in this case you have to add a prefix with “the”. It must be written “The Goverment...”
Past Tense : These examples are very complicated but i like all of these :-D
2nd sentence , it shows “you have finished it” so i think the exact word for “worked” must be replaced by “finished” or “did” ^_^
Present Continous Tense : In this case, 1st and 2nd for each sentence has no adverb, may be you can use “now, at the moment, tomorrow etc”
Past Continous Tense : Like i had written the review before, In this case some sentences have no adverb and you have to add adverb like this “.....the stock exchange for hours”
Using “when” must be replaced by “while” because it’s wrong. I will show you some formulas ...” past cont. Tense when past tense” so “when” must be followed with Past Tense, but While/As must be followed with simple past cont.
Past Perfect Tense : i would like to give a suggestion for 2nd sentence, because it means as “Past Tense” if you want to change into “Past Prefect Tense Form” you have to replace “a years ago” with “in 2007” for example.
3rd sentence means daily activity because it has an adverb “three times in week” i think you should use it for simple present tense. It must be replaced by “since my syster bought it a years ago” for example.
Thanks ^_^
Thanks Hendra for your detailed feedback.
HapusI agree with your comment on the replacement of the word "worked" with the word "finished".
Thanks Group 1.
BalasHapus"Indonesia’s kurs is growing up today", what is "kurs" in English? anyone? give your comments here.
I'm sorry, miss. We aren't careful in correcting our work.
BalasHapusAbout kurs, I think it's better using "exchange rate". It's right?
Yes, Ika.
