Group 1
- Past Continuous Tense
- Lina was studying English when her parents were cleaning the house.
Because I think, usually when using " when " followed sentence past tense.
So, the correct sentence “Lina was studying English when her parents cleaned the house”.
- Past Perfect Tense
- Indonesian’s fuel production had dedined significantly over the years.
I am sorry, I don’t understand about the meaning of that sentence. Especially about the meaning of “dedined”.
- I had read the book three times in week.
I think, the correct sentence "I had read the book there times in a week".Because it describes the details in a week.Group 3Present Continues Tense- If you looking for Indonesian rupiah currency exchange rate today, you can open at www.currency.me.uk/rates/idr-indonesian-rupiah.Because the formula of Present Continuous Tense: Subject+to be(is, am, are)+V-ing. So, the correct sentence "If you are looking for Indonesian rupiah currency exchange rate today, you can open at www.currency.me.uk/rates/idr-indonesian-rupiah".Group 4 - Present Tense
- I always washes my face and brushes my teeth before going to bed.Because when using the subject "They , We , I, You" , the verb is not followed -es . So, the correct sentence “I always wash my face and brush my teeth before going to bed”.
- Past Perfect Tense
- I had prepared all of my needs before I went to holiday to Bali.I think better to use "I went to Bali" than "I went to holiday to Bali". - Present
Continuous Tense- My
friend are helping me to solve my problem.
Because when the word "My friend" we should use "is" but if you want to use "are", you must add "-s" after "My friend". So, the correct sentence "My friend is helping me to solve my problem" or "My friends are helping me to solve my problem".
I think thats all about my feedback and my suggestions. If there are many false, I am sorry.
Thank you ^_^.
1. Lina was studying English when her parents were cleaning the house.
BalasHapusBecause I think, usually when using " when " followed sentence past tense.
So, the correct sentence “Lina was studying English when her parents cleaned the house”.
Andina : I think, the meaning of the Author is an incident betweeen “studying” and “cleaning”
are happen at the same time. So, you should be used conjungtion “while”. “Lina was studying
English while her parents were cleaning the house.”
2. Indonesian’s fuel production had dedined significantly over the years.
I am sorry, I don’t understand about the meaning of that sentence. Especially about the
meaning of “dedined”.
Andina : I think, the word “dedined” it is error written. Maybe, it is “dedicated”. If the sentence
used word “dedicated”. I think the sentence is correct. “Indonesian’s fuel production had
dedicated significantly over the years.”
3. I had read the book three times in week.
I think, the correct sentence "I had read the book there times in a week".
Andina : I think that sentence is correct. Because three time in that sentence meaning
he/she did read in a week for three times. I’m sorry Devi, I don’t agree with your correction.
"I had read the book three times in a week".
4. I had prepared all of my needs before I went to holiday to Bali.
I think better to use "I went to Bali" than "I went to holiday to Bali".
Andina : I think, the meaning of the Author is she/he went to Bali when she/he got holiday.
So, I think the correction sentence is “I had prepared all of my needs before I went to Bali in
my holiday.”
I think thats all about my feedback and my suggestions for you. If there are many false, I am so sorry Devi. And thank you for feedback in my work. :D
